Government Fees

You must have heard about Canada immigration government fees but may not be aware of the process. Relax, we at Immigration Xperts are there to guide you in this regard. The Canadian Immigration Government Processing Fees are divided into 3 categories namely,

  • Federal Family Class Sponsorship
  • Business Immigration
  • Federal Skilled Workers

Federal Family Class Sponsorship- the application processing fees here are subject to change devoid of any notice. It will be the same irrespective of the country of residence. Below is the list of fees for the various Federal Family Class Sponsorship applications.

  • Sponsorship application/applicant-75$
  • Principal applicant- 475$
  • The principal applicant under 19, not a common law partner or spouse (including the sponsor’s dependent child, an orphaned sister, brother, nephew, niece or grandchild)-75$
  • Common law partner, spouse, principal applicant’s conjugal partner, or the principal applicant’s family member who is aged 22 or above- 550$
  • Any family member of the principal applicant who is below 19 and not a common law partner or spouse or is 19 years of age or above who is not financially self supporting prior to turning of 19 because of mental or physical condition- 150$
  • In the case of a transitional provision the principal applicant’s family member who
    • Is below the age of 22, not married, nor in the common law relationship-150$
    • Is 22 or above and is not financially self supporting prior to 22 because of a mental or physical condition-150$

Business Immigration- the application processing fees here are subject to change devoid of any notice. It will be the same irrespective of the country of residence. Below is the list of fees for the various Business Immigration applications.

  • Principal applicant- 1050$
  • Common law partner, spouse, principal applicant’s conjugal partner, or the principal applicant’s family member who is aged 22 or above- 550$
  • Any family member of the principal applicant who is below 19 and not a common law partner or spouse or is 19 years of age or above who is not financially self supporting prior to turning of 19 because of mental or physical condition- 150$
  • In the case of a transitional provision the principal applicant’s family member who
    • Is below the age of 22, not married, nor in the common law relationship-150$
    • Is 22 or above and is not financially self supporting prior to 22 because of a mental or physical condition-150$

Federal Skilled Workers- the application processing fees here are subject to change devoid of any notice. It will be the same irrespective of the country of residence. Below is the list of fees for the various Federal Skilled Worker applications

  • Principal applicant- 550$
  • Common law partner, spouse, principal applicant’s conjugal partner, or the principal applicant’s family member who is aged 22 or above- 550$
  • Any family member of the principal applicant who is below 19 and not a common law partner or spouse or is 19 years of age or above who is not financially self supporting prior to turning of 19 because of mental or physical condition- 150$
  • In the case of a transitional provision the principal applicant’s family member who
    • Is below the age of 22, not married, nor in the common law relationship-150$
